When creating Non inventory credit from an invoice and receive "You must enter at least one line item for this transaction" error message
The scenario this one happens on is an invoice for expenses only. You can determine that if the item field is blank on the invoice.
When you click the RA button at the top of invoice, the system starts creating the RA but doesn't see anything populating the "Item" field on the invoice (the Item field is blank) and posts the "You must enter at least one line item for this transaction" error message.
Follow these instructions to get the credit entered.
1) Click on the Non-Inv Credit button as before to get the error message.
2) Click the Go Back button on the error message
3) You should see the invoice and have a Credit Button available.
4) Click the Credit button to open a Credit Memo with these items. It bypasses some of our approval processes but it should let you proceed and keep the CM tied to the invoice.
