Introduction to Cross Networks

Every Cross office has two wireless networks: Cross and Cross Guest. Let’s talk about what these networks are used for:

Cross
The Cross wireless network is only for company issued computers and tablets. No other devices are to be connected.

Cross Guest
The Cross Guest wireless network is for all devices that are not company issued computers and tablets. This includes personal and company-provided mobile phones, personal computers, any guest/visitor/vendor/customer equipment and any A/V equipment such as TVs and wireless display adapters. The password for this network is Shared Success! (space between the words). This can be shared with visitors. This network does not have access to any of our internal resources and is throttled to make sure it doesn’t impact business use of the internet.

DOs and DO NOTs
DO
Keep your company issued PC on a wired or wireless connection to the Cross network.
Keep your company issued tablet that you use for SuiteWM connected to the Cross network.

DO NOT
Do not connect your company issued PC to the Cross Guest wireless network
Do not connect your mobile phone to the Cross network. You are allowed to join the Cross Guest from your mobile device to save data and to make wifi calls.
Do not allow any visitor to plug an ethernet cable into any of their equipment or attempt to join the Cross wireless network.
