Printers - How To Connect

Each Cross office has a local print server. If you know the print server you can map your computer to any printers shared from that server. In order to view the printers follow these 3 simple steps:

  1. Click Start (or the Windows key on your keyboard)
  2. Type ‘\\servername’ (no quotes) and press Enter. Replace "server name" with the name of the server for the location you’re at. For example, if you’re in the Greensboro corporate office you would type ‘\\gbonx3000’. Make sure you’re using backslashes, which are above the Enter key.
  3. Scroll through the list of printers and double click the printer you want to add
