Signing into Microsoft Office for the first time
How to sign into Office for the first time:
Since you are receiving this article, we've already created your Microsoft account. Please go to Office.com and sign in. They will also prompt you to change your password from the one I assigned you.

They will prompt you to set up a Verification method. As shown below. Press "next" here.
Do not download or use Microsoft Authenticator. INSTEAD: Choose "I want to use a different authenticator" (as shown below)
Press next, and scan the QR code with Okta verify, which you should already be using, on your phone. To do this, open Okta Verify on your phone. Press the "+" button at the top right. Click "Other" for the organization type. If it prompts you to "add account from another device", please skip that step. Now, click "Scan QR code".
After signing in, please search for the Office app you need to use on your computer. You may need to sign into it again, using the credentials you created above. Office should already have been pushed/installed to your PC.
